Hybrid Stepper Motors

Hybrid stepper motors combine exceptionally high performance and torque with very economic pricing. Many hybrid stepper motors are also specifically designed for microstepping to allow resonance and noise effects to be minimised.


Advantages of a hybrid stepper motor include:

  • Very high torque/size ratio
  • Long operational life due to absence of brushes
  • Open loop operation (no need for feedback device in positioning applications)


Hybrid stepper motors have proved ideal in such applications as ticketing machines, medical pumps, printing machines and CNC machines with widespread use in many other areas.

Bipolar Stepper Drive (SEA 5045)


This is a high performance microstepping drive based on pure-sinusoidal current control technology. Owing to the above technology and the self-adjustment technology (self-adjust current control parameters) according to different motors, the driven motors can run with smaller noise, lower heating, smoother movement and have better performances at higher speed than most of the drives in the markets.
